Hi! I’m Jordan, a Systems Engineering student from Costa Rica who is passionate about technology, creativity, and learning new things.
I’m interested in exploring how technology can be used to solve problems, bring ideas to life, and create meaningful experiences for people. Throughout my studies, I hope to expand my knowledge, develop new skills, and discover different areas of the technology field.
Outside of my academic life, I enjoy photography, exploring new technologies, and learning about digital design. I appreciate how images can capture the beauty of the world and tell stories from different perspectives. This is one of the reasons I decided to join the WordPress Photos team.
My contribution project, “Landscapes: The Beauty of Nature and Cities of the World,” aims to bring together 30 landscape photographs from different places around the world. Through this project, I hope to contribute to the WordPress community by helping make free visual resources available to people who want to share their ideas through blogs and websites.
I’m excited to learn more about open-source collaboration, connect with other contributors, and understand how people from different backgrounds can work together to make technology and creative resources more accessible.
For me, this is an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, put my interests into practice, and contribute to a global community while continuing to grow as a student.
I’m looking forward to this journey and to seeing what we can create together!
